Y Chaskelson - With Kaskett
As a young child his talents were apparent to all. He tried many types of art, but being a Silver Smith captured his heart. He sought out those craftsmen who would teach him this unique work. Under their careful and precise hands they developed a new young artist a "Silver Smith".
This work demands much patience and skill. Each piece of art takes months of unusual hard and delicate work. All this work is done with hammer and chisels by hand. Each piece is one of a kind.
A grandson of holocaust survivors who spoke in length about life before the war, he tries in his work to preserve that which was destroyed and is now only memories of Days gone by.
"My life is to preserve and recapture in silver that which was destroyed and will never return."
